Are There Ways To Expedite A PPI Claim?

A commonly asked question with people that wish to get a ppi reclaim underway, is “is there a way that I can expedite my claim happen faster?”

The truth is, whether or not you are making a claim with a company, or if you are doing it on your own, every single claim has to follow a process, and that process is outlined in brief terms as follows:

  1. In the beginning, a case needs to be investigated to find out whether or not there is a ppi policy attached to the particular complaint, because if there is no ppi attached then there can’t possibly be a cause for a claim.
  2. Next, it is very important (at this stage) that you decide if you are going to use a claims’ management firm, or if you are going to ‘go it alone’ with your case
  3. If you choose to go it alone, you will need to get in touch with the financial institution that has mis-sold the insurance to you.  This is because this particular corporation will need to accept that there has been a mis-selling case that has taken place here, before agreeing to pay compensation.
  4. If the bank/corporation decides that it does not agree with the complaint that you are issuing them with, then it means that you will likely have to take this up with the financial ombudsman service, who will investigate the claim further to see if the case needs to be reimbursed or if it is invalid
  5. Dependent on the decision from the financial ombudsman, you will receive either a positive result, or a negative result.  You CAN appeal any result that is delivered by the financial authorities the same as if the banks had rejected the claim themselves in the first place.  However, there are no guarantees that you will receive compensation due to the fact that the claim could be found to be invalid.

The best possible way to get your claim underway the fastest, would be to get all of the information ready at the beginning, because this ensures that you are operating from a state of mind where you have the most information on the circumstances around your particular complaint.

If it is the case that you have definitely been miss sold ppi insurance, then you should absolutely qualify for a claim.

Just make sure you have an understanding of the fees that are payable on completion to make sure you don’t have to deal with any nasty surprises at the end of proceedings.

Home Remedies for Stretch Marks during Pregnancy

Stretch marks come when you get pregnant and it doesn’t seem like there is anything you can do to stop these things. As skin is stretched, the collagen is weakened and its normal production cycle is interrupted and damaged. This ultimately results in fine scars under the top layer of the skin. Initially the marks look pink or red, but over time a thin, silvery line appears on the skin surface and a stretch mark is born. When you tell them to leave, they just don’t get the point so you have to start looking at other options. Instead of buying all these things that promise not to work, try something more natural.

From your kitchen

Coconut Oil – Use organic virgin coconut oil. It has been proven to reduce the appearance of sun spots, wrinkles, scars, and stretch marks. Rub coconut oil into your belly (or legs or whatever) to reduce and prevent stretch marks. Coconut oil works well as a massage oil and an effective moisturizer on all types of skins including dry skin.

Egg Whites – Eggs are a rich source of protein. For stretch marks, you want to use only the egg whites, which contain amino acids and proteins.

  • Whip the whites of two eggs gently with a fork. Clean the affected skin area with water and then apply a thick layer of egg whites with a makeup brush.
  • Allow the egg whites to dry completely and then rinse the area with cold water.
  • Finally apply some olive oil on the skin to keep it moisturized.
  • Repeat the process daily for at least two weeks and watch for positive results.

Lemons – Lemons are a way you can naturally lighten the stretch mark scar. Cut a lemon into wedges and rub the wedge onto your scar on a daily basis. It also helps if you let the lemon wedge sit on the scar for several minutes if you can. This will not make them go away, but it will lighten the scar over time.

Natural Plants

You use aloe-vera on sunburns and other types of skin problems so why wouldn’t you use them on your stretch marks as well. Aloe Vera will help soften the scar which will make it slowly fade away as well.

The Basics of Trading Binary Options

The trading of price fluctuations in various global markets is done using binary options. A trader who is interesting in this type of investment strategy will need to learn about the risk and rewards that occur. Most people are not aware that binary options are not the same as trading traditional options. Trading binary options can result in different fees, payouts, and risks.

Trading binaries is often a function that is simple to understand. The most common way to make use of binary options is to use a high-low option. This is also known as a fixed-return option which is used for gaining access to indexes, stocks, and commodities on a foreign exchange. The reason returns are fixed is due to having a specific expiration date and time called the strike price. Traders need to make wagers based on the direction of the market and the expiration price. A trader will be paid a fixed return on any investment.

Traders will need to purchase a call when they believe the market is rising. If markets begin to fall, then traders will purchase a put. If the price of the option is above its strike price when it expires, then a call is able to make money. A trader will make money on a put when the option price is below its strike price when it expires.

The outset of a trade is when a trader will see the expiration, strike price, the payout and any risks. Most people who are trading binary options overseas will see that the strike price is based on a rate or price of the actual financial product. This includes a stock index or currency pair for any types of stock in USD and EUR currency.

A trader will be wagering that the future price of a financial product will be lower or higher than the current price at expiration. The main advantage to a trader of binary options is knowing risks and reward up front. The movements of the market will not matter as it will not affect the trader. Traders will see there are just two outcomes that will be achieved. A trader will lose a fixed amount or win a fixed amount.

Another benefit of trading binary options is not having to pay any fess, such as broker commissions. Individuals will need to make one decision when deciding to make a trade. This will be to decide if the price for a financial product is going to go up or down.

Getting Personal – Open Up To Let Your Readers In

Three blogs I read regularly had intensely personal posts by their authors within about a week of each other. I think this struck me because they came so close together, and because I could really relate to them.

How willing you are to open up and get personal is entirely up to you and how you want to relate to your audience. Getting too personal can put some people off. It can also draw people in and make your current audience even more dedicated.

I’m glad the following authors did. Here’s who they are, what they said, and how I can relate.

Erika Napolitano

(@redheadwriting)

Erika is a bold and brash writer and not always for the faint of heart. I’ve never gotten the feeling she writes this way deliberately to be shocking. She’s just brutally open and honest, and she pulls it off. Anyone who has a section of their blog titled “The Bitch Slap” is good in my book.

Her blog post What Makes Us recounts her feelings of fears and awkwardness as a high-schooler.

I’ve never been a teenage girl, but I can definitely relate to what she’s saying! In my ridiculously small high school I was one of two people that played guitar. The other was one year below me and also my best friend. For the record, I was a slightly better player, and at the time I lorded it over him without mercy. I feel bad about it now, but that was the one thing I had.

I had long hair, torn jeans and a leather jacket (the one with fringe *shudder*) and got lumped into the “stoner” crowd. This was funny not only because I didn’t do drugs, but no one in the so-called stoner crowd did. We were just the metalheads. We’d rather share a new band with each other than all just get drunk until we puked in someone’s bedroom (which was the favorite weekend activity of the popular kids).

Had I gone to HS with Erika, I think we would have been friends (ok, I’d probably have had a crush on her, I did always like smart girls.. and redheads, but she’d just want to keep it friends).

Daniel Rothamel

(@drothamel)

Daniel made a name for himself in the Real Estate/Tech community as the “Real Estate Zebra” (taken from his days as a basketball referee or “Zebra”) only to ultimately find himself on the unfortunate end of a trademark lawsuit.

There was a great show of support from Daniel’s social media friends and followers (#SaveTheZebra). In the end Daniel made the choice to settle the lawsuit and rebrand himself.

He discussed what I’m sure was a difficult decision for him on his On Endings and Beginnings blog post and also opens up on the  how he’s gotten to where he is today.

I already relate to Daniel as a REALTOR and techie, and someone who loves to combine the two. I also personally know the impact of the words “flare up” having a related medical condition. I also have a very supportive wife named Kari!

See how these little similarities can create a feeling of camaraderie and connection?

Brian Clark

(@CopyBlogger)

How can you NOT click on that? In The Snowboard, the Subdural Hematoma, and the Secret of Life Brian tells of a harrowing head vs. mountain skiing accident that could have been the end of him.

I don’t have any gnarly scars on my head, but my head did once lose a battle with an ice covered driveway resulting in an ER trip and some scrambled memories of the event. This post touches on my fear of brain injury or trauma, and how quickly things can change.

You!

I’m not suggesting you open up as a ploy to get more dedicated readers. I’m just trying to point out that from time to time, pulling back the curtains and letting people know something personal about you lets your fans and readers relate to you on a whole new level.

Take some time and read the posts I’ve included here. Let them be your inspiration to find ways you can open up more to your audience! The more personal ways your readers can relate to you the more trust you’ll build with them.

If social media is really about connecting then being human, vulnerable, and letting your guard down is a way to let people in. It’s something I intend to put into practice on this blog.
